Secretary, Russ Godwin

Mr. Godwin serves as Secretary of the Louisiana America 250 Commission and brings extensive experience in heritage leadership. A National Trustee and past State President of the National Society Sons of the American Revolution, he has long been committed to advancing public understanding of the nation’s founding era. His interests in researching family history, historic preservation, and the role of Colonial Louisiana in the American Revolution provide valuable insight to the Commission’s work as it highlights Louisiana’s contributions to America’s 250 year story.
